Wei Wang

Wei Wang is a fluid chemistry scientist at Chevron Corporation in Houston, Texas.  Her work focuses on risk assessment and management of water-related production issues (e.g., scale), as well as development and application of fluid chemistry technologies for water source allocation, well interference study, and other purposes in asset development, production, and carbon sequestration.  She is currently a committee member and Geochemistry theme chair for Unconventional Resources Technology Conference.  Prior to Chevron, she worked as a research scientist at Rice University Brine Chemistry Consortium and received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Columbia University in the City of New York.
